I was born in la Palma de Cervelló, a small town close to Barcelona 44 years ago and I am the oldest of 4 brothers. After completing my elementary school at a special center for the blind, I decided to become a high school student at a regular school, near by where I lived. Good foundations, teamwork and also personal dedication made of that period, a very successful experience. I studied law at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and right after achieving the law degree, I was offered the opportunity to work for the organization for the blind (ONCE) as an attorney.
A clear drive to go forward at the personal and at the professional level, as well as my determination to contribute to work and improve the environment on behalf of equal opportunities and full accountability of every member of our society, broad me to pursue a master in European law and economy; an MBA with a Fulbright Scholarship at Pace University New York City and to begin a PHD in Marketing.
I am currently teaching marketing and business ethics courses at several universities. I have become the mayor of the youngest municipality of Catalonia and I am working now as a county Council member.
As a boy scout leader, I took my troop to several missions and destinations. Skiing is one of my winter hobbies; by introducing that sport for the blind in Spain, I see with a grate joy how the national team is one of the best in the world.
Socializing with my friends, biking or skiing when I have the time and traveling, are some of my favorite activities I carry out with my wife Elisabet and my daughter Queralt.
